For metal surfaces about to be painted or coated: its phosphoric acid content removes rust and oil, etching the surface at the microscopic level to form a phosphate layer that improves paint adhesion.

Its phosphoric acid, surfactants and solvents remove heavy rust, oil and dirt from metal surfaces and fully eliminate weld discoloration in metalworking. Saves time and money, and phosphate-coats the surface to prepare it for painting.
